IPPS-A Update: Migration to PAID Page

Teammates,

IPPS-A’s Self-Service Absence (My Absences Tile) and HR Pro Absence Management (Special Pay Requests Tile) pages will be migrated to the Pay, Absence, Incentive Pay, and Deduction (PAID) page on 27 December 2023. Hosting absence data on the PAID page will better meet Army needs with regard to data capture, workflow efficiencies, and enhanced integration.

By 26 December 2023, Members and Supervisors must ensure all “Pending” absence requests are actioned to completion (i.e., approved or denied).

Once the migration occurs, any pending absences in the Absence Page will be converted to the PAID page as a “Pending Converted Absence.” Supervisors will not be able to approve pending converted absences after the migration. If a Service Member (SM) must modify or change a pending converted absence, they will need to open a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) case.

Please note that after the migration, the Self-Service Absence tile will be replaced by a “Pay-Absence-Incent-Ded (PAID)” tile. For a visualization, please click here.

To help you through this migration, we have multiple User Productivity Kits (UPKs) covering the functionality of Absences in IPPS-A. All UPKs can be found at the IPPS-A Additional Help and Documentation page. Uncheck the box labeled “Applicable,” and expand (+) “Compensate” and then “Payroll Absences” to find the applicable UPKs:

  • Approve or Deny an Absence
  • Cancel an Absence Request
  • View/Update an Absence Report
Thank you for your continued support and engagement as we improve IPPS-A.

v/r,
Becky
