IPPS-A Updates: 3-Year Anniversary, STP Height/Weight Field, PCS Process Upgrade and Roadmap
Teammates,
Happy New Year!
Celebrating Three Years of IPPS-A
This month marks the third anniversary of when IPPS-A went live for the Total Force — a major milestone worth celebrating.
In 2025, we delivered several key enhancements including the DD Form 214 series, full marketplace functionality, retirement points calculations, and the Leader’s Dashboard. These upgrades were designed to improve the Soldier experience and give Leaders better insight and decision-making tools.
Since IPPS-A launched across all three COMPOs, it has processed nearly
11 million
pay-impacting HR transactions, helping ensure Soldiers are paid accurately and on time. HR Professionals have also resolved more than
851K
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) cases, providing direct support to Soldiers and making it easier to review records, fix issues, and reduce stress for Soldiers and their Families — improving health, welfare, and overall readiness across the Total Force.
I want to give a special
thank you
to the following Soldiers and organizations for resolving the most CRM cases per COMPO for 2025: SPC Noelia Zambrano Minchala (AC), MSG Ursula Smith (NG); SGT Kia Holliday (AR), Army Component Personnel Human Resources Information (ACPHI) Army Military Pay Office (AMPO) Schofield Barracks (AC), Georgia ARNG PAY OFFICE - U.S. Property and Fiscal Officer (USPFO) (NG), and Army Reserve Support Functions (ARSF) Reserve Personnel Action Center (RPAC) SC013 (AR). Your investment in our personnel system makes a huge difference to the whole Army!
Thanks to an Agile Software Development approach, updates are being delivered faster, user feedback is being incorporated more effectively, and greater value is reaching
you
— the
1.1M+
distinct system users.
None of this would be possible without you. Thank you to every Soldier, Leader, and HR Professional who uses the system and provides feedback every day. Your engagement has made these three years a success.
Soldier Talent Profile (STP) Height/Weight Field
A fix is on the way! We are aware of an issue regarding the new "Height/Weight Pass/Fail" field on the STP. The current view is incomplete. While the Height/Weight field is live, the corresponding Army Body Composition Program (ABCP) Pass/Fail field is still being integrated. This is why your status may not yet reflect your actual standing.
We are actively working to add the ABCP field to the STP.
Expect this update within the next few weeks.
Once live, your profile will show a complete and accurate picture of your status.

Permanent Change of Station (PCS) Process Upgrade
Team IPPS-A implemented a major upgrade to the assignment election process designed to increase Service Member involvement in the PCS Orders process.
This new process improves the Soldier Experience by simplifying and expediting crucial steps, including entitlement determination, dependent travel, and more, to ensure a smooth and efficient transition to your follow-on assignment.
What’s Changed?
Approval Email: After placement on your follow-on PCS assignment, you will receive an email from IPPS-A titled "Member Elections."
MANDATORY Member Elections: This email includes a new required questionnaire, specific to your assignment. These questions are designed to gather a comprehensive understanding of your circumstances, individual needs, and specific requirements.
Order Finalization: You
MUST
complete this questionnaire to determine your eligibility for various entitlements and finalize the PCS process, allowing you to receive your official orders. All determinations are based on official regulations.

IPPS-A Roadmap
I encourage everyone to check the IPPS-A Roadmap regularly. The roadmap provides clear visibility into our major post-release development efforts, including goals, milestones, timelines, key tasks, and dependencies.
Following the roadmap helps you stay informed on what’s coming next and how each effort supports continued improvement across the system.
Updated versions of the roadmap are published routinely on our social media channels and on our website at:
